Annual Well Animal & Medical Appointments

Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. There are appointments available every day for medical cases, if your pet is not feeling well, we will schedule your appointment for the first available time that you can arrive. Healthy animal visits can be scheduled as far in advance as you would like, and we have an email/text reminder system to help you keep track of your appointment time. Please make sure we have your up to date contact information for this service. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible, it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your emergency.

Internal Medicine & General Surgery

Schrag Animal Clinic is equipped with the doctors and staff to handle all your medical and surgical needs for your pet. We also have access to board certified specialists if the need should arise.

Radiology & Ultrasound

Digital radiology and ultrasound are offered in the hospital and we have a board-certified radiologist that can come onsite to perform full abdominal and cardiac ultrasound with a scheduled appointment.

In House Laboratory

Schrag Animal Clinic has a full-service in-house laboratory, so we can provide our patients with timely diagnostics. This allows for efficient changes in treatment plans. We also have access to further off-site diagnostics for more in-depth testing.

General Dentistry

We offer dental services for all general dentistry needs including, dental cleaning, dental radiographs, extractions and general oral surgery. Referral services are available for endodontics if needed.

Pediatric & Geriatric Care

As your pet grows from a puppy or kitten, to adulthood, and on to the golden years, Schrag Animal Clinic offers all the services needed to keep them happy and healthy.

Exotic Care

Schrag Animal Clinic has the doctors and staff qualified to see your exotic pets. Exotic pet appointments may take more time to talks about husbandry and environment of the pet, call us and we can schedule at your convenience.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have veterinarians and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible, it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you can get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to get you seen between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, please inform the receptionists you have an emergency so you can be prioritized.

Discounts

Schrag Animal Clinic offers discounted services to senior citizens, military and first responders, and local area rescue groups. Pre-approval is required to qualify for the rescue group discounts, please call us for more information.
